Imprivata Patient Secure

The CIS Department has successfully completed phase one implementation of Imprivata Patient Secure. Imprivata Patient Secure will improve patient safety and satisfaction by reducing duplicate accounts and identification errors. Imprivata Patient Secure uses palm vein recognition biometrics to assist the front desk staff in identifying the patient’s CBiz and EMR record accurately and efficiently.

Phase two go-lives are scheduled for October 3rd and October 4th. The clinics included in phase two are Family Medicine, OBGYN, Pediatrics, and Orthopedic Surgery.

Prescriptions

Prescriptions can be printed by licensed providers when needed. The Authorizing Provider field is required to reflect only Physician. Search for the appropriate Authorizing Provider when needed.

EMR Known Issues

There are 2 EMR Known Issues:
    • EMR Users who are missing icons when accessing a Zero Client should contact the EMR Department for assistance.
    • DragonSpeak is currently unavailable for use on Zero Clients.
    • To report any issues please e-mail us at elpasoemr@ttuhsc.edu or contact us at our new number 215-4111 option 3.
