Pediatrics
clinic is
now live with Centricity EMR. The Majority of the EMR department will be assisting the clinic during the next month. If you need any assistance someone will still be available to answer and troubleshoot issues over the phone.

How to Fax a document using the Biscom Printer � Tip of the Week
Open
the Centricity EMR application.
Enter
username (eRaider), EMR password and
select
a location of care (LOC)
Find
a patient (Ctrl + F) by clicking on Actions >
Find
Patient
Select
an option under Search (Name, Birthday, Home Phone, SSN, Patient ID and MRN)
Click
the “Search” button >
Select
patient >
Click
“OK” to finalize
Go to
the Documents tab >
Select
a document in order to be faxed >
Click
on the “Print“ button
Select
the “Biscom Fax Printer” under the Printer drop down menu
Click
the “Print” button
Click
the “Select…” button in order to choose a recipient.
Select
a Contact list by clicking the drop down menu under the Show section
Search
and
choose
a contact recipient >
Click
the “OK” button
(
Note:
Retail Pharmacies are the only contacts that can be added on this screen)
Select
the Default cover page under Cover Page
Next,
click
on the “Fax” button in order to send the current document to the selected recipient
Finally, a Fax Status document will be created and signed under the patient chart if the document was successfully faxed
Otherwise, an alert message will be routed to your “Desktop” if the document failed to be sent

If you are new to a clinic and don’t have printers available when using a desktop computer please notify EMR so we can ensure you have the right permissions to access all printers.
Please make sure you report any issues that impact EMR as we cannot solve issues we are unaware of.
As always we are working to resolve these issues in a timely fashion and will keep you updated on their status.
