Imprivata Patient Secure
The EMR Department is in the process of getting ready to implement Imprivata Patient Secure throughout the
clinical front desks and Central Registration. Imprivata Patient Secure will improve patient safety and
satisfaction by reducing duplicate accounts and identification errors. Imprivata Patient Secure uses palm
vein recognition biometrics to assist the front desk staff in identifying the patient’s CBiz and EMR record
accurately and efficiently.
Phase one go-live is scheduled for June 6th and 7th. The clinics included in phase one are: Central
Registration, Surgery, Ophthalmology, GBCC, Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, Neurology and Transmountain practice.
