Adding Allergies to Patient Charts
Anytime a medication is selected, EMR automatically checks the medication against the patient’s allergies or adverse reactions. Properly adding allergies to Patient charts is essential on making sure Drug interactions are displayed.
Click
New
Select the appropriate Allergy Group from the
Custom List Drop Down.
Select the
Classification
corresponding the Allergy
Select the Allergy from the
Substance
Dropdown
Select the
Criticality
and Enter the Reaction to the Substance selected. Click
OK
to Save.
Allergy will be added to the patients chart and will display any Drug Interactions
Note:
If the Allergy description is added without selecting it from a custom list, EMR will add the allergy as uncoded and does not include it in the interaction check. The Substance name will have an asterisk (*) before the name of the Substance.

Phreesia Appointment Confirmations & Refresher Trainings
Internal Medicine, Family Medicine and Pediatrics are participating in a pilot of Phreesia Patient Appointment Reminders. In addition to the pre-visit registration received via text or email, patients will receive the option to confirm their appointment or request to reschedule/cancel their appointment. The EMR Department is providing Phreesia Refresher Trainings via WebEx the last Friday of each month from 8:00am- 8:30am. WebEx Meeting invitation are sent to the Department Administrators and Clinic Managers prior to the scheduled refresher training. Contact your Clinic Manager if you are interested in attending. Phreesia Workflow Guide, Payment Guide and Appointment Confirmation Guide is available for review under the Knowledge Base Section of the
