University Health Services

University Health Services (UHS) is an on campus medical clinic within the Office of Student Services and Student Engagement, located in Medical Science Building II. UHS provides high quality health care services to students attending Texas Tech Health El Paso. Our team supports student wellness through primary care, preventive services, and health education.

Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Walk ins are available. Appointments are encouraged when possible.

Sick Visits (Minor Illness and Injury)

  • Colds and upper respiratory infections
  • Cough, sore throat, and sinus infections
  • Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea
  • Allergies
  • Skin concerns
  • Minor cuts or wounds
  • Sprains, strains, and minor sports injuries

Wellness Exams and Physicals

  • Annual checkups and physical exams
  • Blood pressure screening
  • Annual Physicals
  • Mental health screening
  • Women’s Health
  • Reproductive and relationship health

Cost and Insurance

Services are free for actively enrolled students. Students are financially responsible for prescriptions, laboratory tests, and imaging services.
