Grievance and Conduct Program
By accepting admission and enrolling at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso, a student neither loses the rights nor escapes the responsibilities of citizenship. All students are expected to obey federal, state, and local laws; the rules and regulations of the Board of Regents of The Texas Tech System; the rules and regulations of TTUHSC El Paso; and directives issued by a TTUHSC El Paso administrative official in the course of their duties. TTUHSC El Paso is a community of students, faculty, and staff involved in learning, teaching, research, patient care, and other activities. In accordance with our Values Based Culture, all members of our community are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that positively contributes to an environment in which respect, service, accountability, integrity, and teamwork are demonstrated. The TTUHSC El Paso Institutional Student Handbook: Code of Professional Conduct (The Code) provide information related to the standards of behavior for our campus community.
In addition, as a member of the TTUHSC El Paso community you are afforded protections and The Code also includes information related to the grievance process. In addition, each school has policies related to student mistreatment that are outlined in the school level handbooks under the associated office of student affairs.
