Campus Assessment, Response, and Evaluation (CARE) Team
Mission Statement
The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso Campus Assessment, Response, and Evaluation (CARE) Team is a multi-disciplinary group of campus professionals that work in a proactive and collaborative approach to respond to campus community concerns. The CARE Team works to intervene early and develop appropriate courses of action for referred students. The team strives to promote individual student wellbeing, success, and autonomy while prioritizing community safety.
What Does the CARE Team Do?
The CARE Team serves as a centralized resource for identifying, evaluating, and responding to concerns that may impact the safety, well-being, or success of TTUHSC El Paso students. Examples of situations where the CARE Team may intervene include:

- Concerns about safety, including self-harm or harm to others.
- Academic or personal struggles affecting well-being.
