The Combined Adult and Child Psychiatry Track

If you have an interest in pursuing a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship after residency, consider this specialized track to begin developing your expertise early.

This track permits the completion of both their adult residency training and child psychiatry fellowship within five years at TTUHSC El Paso. Residents need only complete the application cycle once for both residency and fellowship. Applicants must indicate through ERAS their intent to pursue this track while applying to the general psychiatry residency program.

Through this track, residents will be able to complete up to two months of your primary care requirements in pediatrics. Additionally, residents will be able to integrate child and adolescent psychiatry care beginning in their second year of residency for a unique and longitudinal experience. TTUHSC El Paso offers numerous unique rotations in child and adolescent psychiatry.
