Neuropsychiatry Post-Doctoral Research Program
The Neuropsychiatry Postdoctoral Program supports outstanding young scientists who are likely to shape the future of brain research. The program comes with traditional postdoctoral training period from 3-4 years and provides exceptional mentoring and training. The program will enable recent PhD graduates with the resources to establish an independent research program. This assists them to concentrate fully on exploring and developing their scientific career. Fellows will be given full access to the Southwest Brain Bank, Research Lab, Clinical Department and collaborations internally with the Department of Pathology, TTUHSCEP and with other researchers on campus and elsewhere. Postdoctoral fellows are appointed through individual faculty advisors from the Department of Psychiatry Research Program Director- Dr. Peter M Thompson. Researchers interested in Neuropsychiatry Postdoctoral Program should contact the faculty directly.
