Research
The division of gastroenterology participates in research that includes patient-oriented clinical trials in the area of hepatitis C, GI cancer treatment and prevention, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease, endoscopic ultrasound, pancreatic cystic neoplasms. Over the past few years, the division has created a first rate clinical service through recruitment of subspecialty faculty and programs, including the areas of hepatology, inflammatory bowel disease, endoscopic ultrasound and ERCP, and motility/neurogastroenteroloy.
