Application Requirements and Deadlines
The Gayle Greve Hunt School of Nursing (GGHSON) Bachelor of Science in Nursing application process requires:
- Submission of a GGHSON application. A $75 application fee is required.
- Official Transcripts.
- Proof of valid and unencumbered RN license.
Upon acceptance, students are required to pay a $150 placement fee. Instructions on payment are included in the offer letter.
Please note that all application and placement fees are non-refundable and it is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure the correct program and campus is selected.
R.N. to B.S.N. Application Cycle
Admission is on a rolling basis and is divided into the admission review periods as outlined below. To be reviewed for a particular periods, all application materials must be submitted and complete by the indicated date.
All students who meet the required deadline for the review period will have the same chance of being offered admission to the program regardless of whether the application was received at the beginning or end of the review period.
You need to have all prerequisites completed or proof of enrollment provided in order to receive an offer of admission. All prerequisites must be completed and proof sent to coordinator prior to the first day of class.

Financial Aid
Applicants interested in applying for financial aid (student loans, grants, scholarships) upon admittance to the school of nursing must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov. The TTUHSC El Paso Gayle Greve Hunt School of Nursing requires a FAFSA on file to be eligible for scholarships offered by the school.
