Program Description

The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso (TTUHSC El Paso) Gayle Greve Hunt School of Nursing (GGHSON) Post-Baccalaureate Nursing Leadership Certificate program provides an alternative option to professional nurses considering graduate level education. The nursing leadership certificate will encompass leadership and business concepts necessary for leadership and administrative roles.

Program Length

Program curriculum includes four graduate level courses earning the student 12-credit hours.  Curriculum content includes graduate level competencies from the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) Essentials and nurse leader competencies from the American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL).  Upon completion of the certificate, the individual has the option to progress towards the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree with the TTUHSC El Paso Gayle Greve Hunt School of Nursing.
