Surgery Selectives
Students are also required to complete a three week selective supervised by faculty in one of the following areas of specialty:
- Anesthesiology
- Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT)
- Neurosurgery
- Ophthalmology
- Orthopedics
- Plastic Surgery
- Trauma
- Urology
Didactics:
Each Thursday afternoon, all students in the block attend teaching sessions with both family medicine and surgical faculty (Ph.D. scientists and PharmD faculty are also included).
