Application Requirements and Deadlines

The Gayle Greve Hunt School of Nursing (GGHSON) Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing application process requires completion of two (2) applications:

  1. The Nursing Centralized Application Service (NursingCAS) application. A *$60 application fee is required.
  2. GGHSON Supplemental Application (secondary).  A *$75 application fee is required

Follow the Nursing Centralized Application Service link instructions to complete the application. Upon submission of a complete NursingCAS application, applicants must complete the supplemental application once they receive an email invitation to complete the secondary application.

Upon acceptance, students are required to pay a *$150 placement fee. Instructions on payment are included in the enrollment offer letter.

To help you enter your grades correctly, please have your transcripts available or the GGHSON advisor evaluation to enter all your prerequisite courses in the GPA calculation module. These grades will be audited for accuracy by admissions staff after you have submitted your completed application.

It is the responsibility of the applicant to make sure that both the NursingCAS and the supplemental applications are complete and submitted by the application deadline.

Applications submitted after the deadline, will not be reviewed.

*Please note: Application fees and placement fees are non-refundable.  Applicants are responsible for ensuring the correct program and campus is selected at the time of the application.

Financial Aid

Applicants interested in applying for financial aid (student loans, grants, scholarships) upon admittance to the GGHSON must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov. The GGHSON requires a FAFSA on file to be eligible for scholarships offered by the school.
