Unique additions to didactics
- As part of our didactic series we do a research methods series course with our research instructor.
- As part of our psychotherapy series we do introduction with a presentation portion and a practical portion with our Psychologist.
- We do weekly group case discussion supervision.
- We do family therapy supervision didactic series.
- We do regular journal clubs with the fellows throughout the year.
- We do year-long lecture series with first year fellows about development of children.
- We do year-long lecture series with second year fellows about advanced therapeutics.
- We have some guest speaker didactics from the community and from other programs as well.
- Every year we also have a family therapy session in which all fellows participate.
- We have half day practical experience with learning about how children develop.
- We do EMDR training, ADOS training, Sand Tray training, Motivational Interview training, and other trainings as needed as well.
