SARP Mini-Grants

The SARP Mini-Grant program provides financial support for Foster School of Medicine faculty and medical students working on projects that fulfill the Scholarly Activity and Research Program (SARP) requirement.

Funding Overview

  • Award Amount: Up to $8,500

  • Purpose: Funds may be used for:

    • Research materials and supplies

    • Fee-related support (e.g., lab tests, software)

    • Participant incentives

    • Services essential to the project’s execution

Eligibility

To apply, you must:

  • Be a faculty member at the Foster School of Medicine

  • Be mentoring a student on an approved SARP project
    (The student must list you as their SARP faculty mentor on their submitted SARP Project Plan.)
