Psychology Post-Doctoral Fellowship
TTUHSC EP has a one-year, full-time (40 hours per week) psychology post-doctoral fellowship position. The psychology fellow will provide outpatient mental health services such as individual, dyadic, and group therapies; psychological assessment and testing; psychoeducation and outreach; and consultation to a diverse population. Opportunities to provide clinical services in Spanish may also be provided. Based on availability, the psychology fellow will also engage in supervision of the psychology intern, staff and department trainings, outreach, teaching, and research throughout the fellowship year. The psychology fellow will have multiple opportunities for professional development, such as: multidisciplinary didactics; journal club meetings; grand rounds; and other seminars, webinars, and workshops hosted on the academic medical center campus.
Admissions Requirements
Applicants to the program must have completed a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling
psychology from a university-based program (PhD or PsyD) accredited by the American
Psychological Association (APA) or the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) and
finished a one-year pre-doctoral internship that is APA-accredited or its substantial
equivalent.
