The division of Gastroenterology is part of the department of internal medicine at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso Campus Paul L. Foster School of Medicine, and the University Medical Center (UMC) of El Paso. The division of gastroenterology participates in research that includes patient-oriented clinical trials in the areas of hepatitis C, GI cancer treatment and prevention, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease, endoscopic ultrasound, and pancreatic cystic neoplasms. //more
