Maternal-Fetal Medicine
Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) physicians are high-risk pregnancy experts specializing in the un-routine. For moms-to-be with chronic health problems, we work with other specialists in our office or hospital setting to keep mom healthy as her body changes and her baby grows. In some cases, the baby requires specialized monitoring before birth.
We offer consultations to patients with high-risk obstetrical problems, and provide ongoing prenatal care for patients who are high-risk. We also provide prepregnancy counseling for patients with medical problems or complicated obstetrical histories, or who just want up-to-date information prior to attempting a pregnancy. Additionally, we offer specialized fetal ultrasound and Doppler ultrasound services.
