Resident ResearchResearch is an integral part of this program's residency requirements. All residents are expected to conduct a clinical research project in collaboration with faculty mentors. The project is presented during the third year at the Resident's Research Day. Conferences and TeachingsEvery morning we have morning report, there is also teaching rounds with faculty in each of the inpatient services. Weekly, residents come together to review technical bulletins or other educational materials. On Fridays, we have Grand Rounds where our faculty and residents, as well as invited speakers, cover new developments and subjects in our specialty. Once a month, Journal Club and M&M conferences are also held during this time. There is also simulation activities held monthly to teach procedures. Residents actively participate in the education of third and fourth year medical students during their clerkship in Obstetrics and Gynecology. |
