Something unique or interesting about yourself: I converted my CRV into a camper with a 6-foot bed and lived out of it for five weeks while traveling across the Northwest.

Something unique or interesting about yourself: I love oil painting.

Plans after residency: Continue global health and human-rights related work. Maybe open up a brewery or coffee shop? Still trying to figure it out!

Something unique about myself: I served in the Peace Corps in Zambia as a fish farmer and Sierra Leone as a teacher. It was authentic Peace Corps: living in a mud hut without running water or electricity.

Plans after residency: Working in a community or rural setting; however, I am interested in potentially pursuing a fellowship.

Something unique or interesting about yourself: Both my husband and I are certified scuba divers and enjoy exploring new dive sites while traveling. We have enjoyed some amazing dives in the Caribbean as well as the Pacific Northwest.

Favorite Thing about El Paso: The fact that El Paso is a border city with Juárez and we get to experience both sides.   

Plans after residency: Travel the world with my family!

Something unique or interesting about yourself: I have done one full 140.6 Ironman event and multiple 70.3 Ironman events with noncompetitive results ... they are just for fun. I have been a registered nurse for 13 years.

Something unique or interesting about yourself: I grew up playing soccer my entire life and was invited to try out for the Polish Women's National Soccer Team in college. I was selected based on my maiden name, Buraczyk. I did not make the team, but had a lot of fun trying out!

Plans after residency: Move back to Colorado to be closer to my family and be an excellent EM doc.

Something unique or interesting about yourself: Make it fun! Before medicine, I was an engineer at a small startup company and worked on developing designs and parts for NASA.

Plans after Residency: Staying with my family in El Paso and working at one of the hospitals as an emergency medicine physician.

Plans after residency: I am planning to practice as a Naval physician and travel the world.

Something unique or interesting about yourself: I was born in Germany and lived there for several years. However, the only German I know is how to ask for the train station and for a beer.
