Distinction in Research and Scholarship (DIRS)

The Distinction in Research and Scholarship (DIRS) recognizes Foster School of Medicine students who demonstrate exceptional engagement and achievement in scholarly activity and research during medical school.

DIRS is awarded to students who complete the Scholarly Activity and Research Program (SARP) requirements and whose scholarly work reflects sustained effort, academic rigor, and professionalism.
