Journey to Dental School is an annual event hosted by the Woody L. Hunt School of Dental Medicine, Office of Admissions and Desert Mountain Area Health Education Center (AHEC) in conjunction with the Student National Dental Association (SNDA) with the intention of exposing high school students of varying backgrounds to the field of dentistry. This program is for students who may have a curiosity about dentistry and/or general health care to participate in experiential sessions to expose them to the profession of dentistry. The day will consist of a combination of enrichment activities to highlight the areas of the dental profession that may appeal to students and to provide a framework for engaging in the profession and finding a future as a dentist.
