About TTUHSC El Paso
Welcome to the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso. Since 1973, TTUHSC El Paso has played an important role in El Paso’s health care history through education, research, and patient care.
Our programs at the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine, Gayle Greve Hunt School of Nursing, and L. Frederick Francis Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences offer students the opportunity to expand their knowledge through an innovative curriculum that is proving to be immensely successful. Our students receive a comprehensive, practical education spanning a broad range of health issues that prepare them for a health care career through hands-on training in clinical and research settings to understand and meet the challenges facing the El Paso community and beyond. We offer a professional growth experience like no other, turning out some of the best doctors and health professionals, evident by the number of physicians selected for the Best Docs in America list, year after year.
Various collaborations with community entities such as area hospitals and health centers provide students the practical knowledge that is vital to their success. We are proud to say that our faculty and students are recognized for their accomplishments on local, regional, and national levels.
