Dr. Meza is an associate professor of medicine, associate dean for graduate medical education and chief of infectious diseases. Dr. Meza underwent his internal medicine residency here at TTUHSC El Paso and his subsequent infectious diseases training at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. Dr. Meza has a developed career in academic medicine and from 2002 to 2009 was the internal medicine program director. His current focus is on the proper oversight of residency training programs and the development of subspecialty training in the context of a new medical school.
