What led you to choose Family Medicine as a specialty?
I fell in love with all of the specialties during medical school and did not want to be restricted to one particular gender or age group.
Why did you choose El Paso to train for residency?
This is my home town and my plan was always to come back and service the community that raised me.

I enjoy caring for a diverse patient population and love the continuity of care. There is never a dull moment in family medicine. I like the challenge at addressing a range of pathologies. I hope to provide the holistic care to my patients.

I really enjoy spending time with my family and friends. During the week I like to
cook at home. On the weekends, I enjoy exploring the culinary scene that El Paso has
to offer. I also enjoy hiking in the Franklin Mountains and Salsa dancing.
What led you to choose Family Medicine as a specialty?
I chose family medicine because it covers the true meaning of what I consider to be medicine. I did it for the connection you create with your patients and the impact of your presence on their quality of life. This is the only branch of medicine that allows you to provide continuous and active family care, from the newborn to the elderly.
Why did you choose El Paso to train for residency?
I chose El Paso due to its geographical position, it offers a unique experience in primary care medicine training due to the exposure to an unlimited and infrequent pathologies. IT also allows me to continue to come into contact and have a positive transcultural impact on the region through my patients.

I have a strong interest in sports medicine as well as hospital and palliative care.

What led you to choose Family Medicine as a specialty?
I love outpatient care and preventative medicine. I enjoy getting to know my patients chronically and following up with their conditions.
Why did you choose El Paso to train for residency?
I really liked the faculty and residents at this program. The patients in El Paso are very kind, and I enjoy working with them to improve the quality of their lives.
