Web Content Guidelines

Best practices for new and updated content

This guide helps departments plan, write, format, and review webpage content before submitting new pages or content updates.

Use the checklist below to make sure the page has a clear audience, a clear purpose, and content that is organized, easy to understand, and ready for the web.

These guidelines also support accessibility, consistency, and content quality across the TTUHSC El Paso websites. They are informed by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), Section 508 accessibility requirements, and Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) accessibility guidance.

Reviewing these items before submission can help reduce revision requests and make updates easier to complete.
