Resident Employment
The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) El Paso Paul L. Foster School of Medicine offers nine residency programs with approximately 205 residents. In addition, the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine serves as a major participating institution for the orthopedic surgery residency program at William Beaumont Army Medical Center. All residency programs meet the accreditation standards of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and the American Board of Medical Specialties. Programs are developed in the context of the Physician General Competencies as expressed by the ABMS and the ACGME. Those are:
