Texas Tech Physicians of El Paso
Experts Serving the Community

EL PASO, Texas – Texas Tech Physicians of El Paso is the region’s largest multispecialty medical group practice, with over 250 specialists and subspecialists providing care for the entire family at several locations across El Paso.

As the medical practice of the Foster School of Medicine, the physicians who comprise Texas Tech Physicians of El Paso hold faculty appointments at the medical school, where they teach the next generation of doctors.

Receiving care in a medical school setting is unique in that attending physicians are also teachers. They must remain up to date on new treatments and diagnostics, not only to care for patients, but also to pass on that knowledge to resident physicians, physicians studying in fellowship and medical students.

The dedicated team of health care professionals and staff provides patients with high-quality health care and personal, compassionate service at Texas Tech Physicians of El Paso outpatient clinics located in Central, Northeast and West El Paso.

Texas Tech Physicians of El Paso offers services from a variety of specialties, including OB-GYN, orthopaedics, urology and cardiovascular medicine, helping local families avoid the expense of traveling outside the city for specialized health care services.

Texas Tech Physicians of El Paso works in affiliation with University Medical Center of El Paso, El Paso Children’s Hospital and The Hospitals of Providence. UMC is the primary teaching hospital for Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso and EPCH is the main hospital for pediatrics-related training.

Students and residents receive well-rounded, diverse training due to El Paso’s location on the U.S.-Mexico border. During their clinical rotations, they gain experience in infectious diseases, diabetes, migrant health and community-oriented primary care, among others. Patients can be seen by their physicians both at the hospital and at the Texas Tech Physicians of El Paso outpatient clinics for their continued health care needs.

The Hospitals of Providence – Transmountain Campus, the city’s newest teaching hospital, is a unique, public-private collaboration between TTUHSC El Paso and The Hospitals of Providence that provides clinical education and teaching opportunities for TTUHSC El Paso residents, medical and nursing students. Next to the teaching hospital, an accompanying Texas Tech Physicians of El Paso medical office building offers clinical services ranging from family medicine to surgery specialties.

Texas Tech Physicians of El Paso strives to be a nationally recognized medical practice in quality patient care, satisfaction and value.
