The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation prepares future orthopaedic specialists through a unique dual-civilian residency program with William Beaumont Army Medical Center, advancing education, research, and compassionate patient care.
Welcome to the website for Texas Tech Health El Paso Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation! Our department is comprised of faculty surgeons, physician extenders, administrative staff and research staff. We also have a very unique residency program that is dual civilian-military, in partnership with William Beaumont Army Medical Center (see the “Residency” tab from the menu). We see our patients in the operating room at UMC, affiliated hospitals, or in our clinic for pre-op appointments, wound care, splints/casts, and follow-up visits.
We work closely with UMC Rehabilitation (with four different locations across town) to help streamline getting our patients into the therapy they need as soon as possible after their surgeries.
