Program Goals

The Texas Tech Health El Paso Interventional Neurology Fellowship aims to:

Train Compassionate Experts
Develop clinical interventional neurologists who are both compassionate and highly proficient in patient care.

Prepare for Diverse Career Paths
Equip fellows to excel in various professional settings, including:

  • Research institutions
  • Universities and teaching hospitals
  • Community hospitals
  • Outpatient practices

Foster Research Innovation
Provide exposure to investigator-initiated clinical research and support fellows in designing and implementing individual projects.

Program Objectives

By the end of the fellowship, graduates will be able to:

Master Interventional Neurology
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of both invasive and noninvasive interventional neurology.

Deliver Ethical and Compassionate Care
Provide competent, personalized treatment while considering clinical variables, patient preferences, value-based care principles, and evidence-based practices.

Develop Diagnostic and Treatment Plans
Formulate effective plans tailored to various care settings, such as teaching or community hospitals, inpatient units, and outpatient offices.

Pursue Professional Opportunities
Confidently choose among diverse career paths, including advanced training, clinical practice, or research, aligned with their personal and career goals.

Understand Field Controversies
