Interventional Neurology Fellowship
Program Overview
The Interventional Neurology Fellowship at Texas Tech Health El Paso is a rigorous
two-year program designed to prepare physicians for independent practice in interventional
neurology. Fellows progress through supervised clinical work with increasing responsibilities,
culminating in independent practice.

- Start Date: July 1, 2023
- Duration: Two years
- Positions Available: One fellow per year (junior and senior fellow)

Fellow Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a valid and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States.
- Be a graduate of one of the following:
- A neurology residency and a one-year vascular neurology fellowship (PGY-6 Level) in an ACGME program.
- A neurology residency and a two-year neurocritical care fellowship (PGY-7 Level) in a UCNS or ACGME program.
- A neurosurgery residency (PGY-8 Level) in an ACGME program.
- A radiology residency and a one-year ACGME-accredited neuroradiology fellowship (PGY-7 Level).
- Be board certified or board eligible in neurology, neurosurgery, or neuroradiology
(ABMS).

As the program does not participate in ERAS or the MATCH, applications must be submitted directly.
