Application Process

Application Submission: All applications must be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) exclusively.

Submission Notice: Only applications received via ERAS will be considered. Please do not send application materials by email, mail, or fax, as they will be discarded.

If you are selected for an interview, you will be contacted through the ERAS portal to arrange a convenient time.

Resident Positions: We accept 14 residents each year.
USMLE Score Requirement: No minimum USMLE Step 1 score is required. We conduct a comprehensive, holistic review of each applicant’s credentials.
COMLEX Scores: COMLEX scores are accepted as an alternative to USMLE scores.
Visa Sponsorship: Texas Tech Health El Paso (TTEP) is not considering applications from individuals who require sponsorship for an employment visa, including those with H1B visas or those currently on student or postgraduate visas.
