Comprehensive, Hands-on Training for Future Family Physicians

The Family Medicine Residency Program at Transmountain is designed to equip residents with the skills and confidence to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based medical care in diverse clinical settings. Our curriculum offers a strong foundation in adult medicine and pediatrics, while also providing exceptional training in behavioral health, sports medicine, geriatric care, and essential procedural skills in dermatology, musculoskeletal care, and women’s health.

Residents benefit from diverse elective opportunities, allowing them to personalize their training in areas of special interest. Electives are offered in both 2- and 4-week blocks, with options across major subspecialties in outpatient and inpatient settings.

The goal of our curriculum is simple: to develop outstanding family physicians who provide compassionate, high-quality care.
