About the Program
The Francis Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences offers undergraduate students the opportunity to gain hands-on research experience through the Summer Accelerated Biomedical Research (SABR) Program .
This 10-week paid internship is designed for students interested in pursuing graduate school and careers in biomedical research. The program provides an immersive experience in laboratory research, professional development, and exposure to graduate-level education.

Eligibility
- Open to undergraduate students interested in biomedical research.
- Must be willing to commit full-time (40+ hours per week).
- Former SABR interns are not eligible to reapply.
- Students cannot take summer courses or work another job during the program.
Expectations & Workload
- A minimum of 40 hours per week in the lab.
- Work schedules vary based on ongoing experiments and research.
- Interns will work closely with faculty mentors and research teams.
