Community Partners
The Student Support Center partners with several off-campus community agencies to provide counseling services to Texas Tech Health El Paso students.
Please consider the following informatino:
- Enrolled students may contact the providers below for up to eight (8) free sessions per academic year (September through August).
- Students must provide their TTUHSC student ID card to the provider in order to receive services.
- These services are only available for students. Residents should benefit from services provided by the Student Support Center.

These local and national resources offer a variety of support services, including counseling, case management, and emergency shelter. They are available to individuals facing mental health conditions, substance abuse, or domestic and sexual violence. If you or someone you know needs assistance, please reach out to one of these organizations.
Local
Emergence Health Network (EHN)
Local crisis center that provides counseling services and case management.
Center Against Sexual and Family Violence (CASFV)
Support for survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Services include crisis counseling, long—term counseling, and an emergency shelter.
National
National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)
The NAMI HelpLine is a free, nationwide peer-support service providing information, resource referrals and support to people living with a mental health condition, their family members and caregivers, mental health providers and the public.
Physician Support Line (PSL)
Free and confidential peer support for physicians and medical students. Available Monday to Friday (except federal holidays) from 6am to 10pm MT.
Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)
Confidential, free, 24-hour-a-day, 365-day-a-year, information service, in English and Spanish, for individuals and family members facing mental and/or substance use disorders.
