Mission Statement
The Student Support Center is committed to students’ academic and personal wellness by providing individual counseling services and outreach programming that honor and respect the unique experiences and characteristics of each person in a welcoming environment that fosters development and psychological well-being.
Experiencing a Crisis?
If you are a student in immediate crisis and any of the following apply:
- You feel in immediate danger of harming yourself.
- You feel in immediate danger of harming someone else.
- You have recently been assaulted or had a traumatic experience.
Take one of these immediate actions:
Call 911
Universal Emergency Number
If you or someone else are in immediately danger or are experiencing thoughts of harming yourself or others, call 911. You will be connected with the police, who can help you access emergency services.
Call 988
Suicide and Crisis Lifeline
Anyone experiencing suicidal or distressing thoughts can call or text this number to speak with a crisis counselor.
Call Emergence Health Network
A 24-hour crisis line available for students and residents experiencing a mental health
emergency.

Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Crisis Services:
Walk-ins are welcome for crisis appointments. No need to schedule in advance.
Additionally, if you are experiencing a crisis and require immediate medical attention, you can seek assistance from local emergency care centers at your own expense or insurance.
