Supporting Student Health, Wellness, and Dignity

The Office of Global Health and Societies at Texas Tech Health El Paso is committed to supporting student health and well-being by helping reduce barriers to essential resources.

The Period Pantry provides students with free access to menstrual hygiene products in a welcoming and discreet environment. Access to menstrual hygiene products is an important part of health and well-being. Through the Period Pantry, the Office of Global Health & Societies seeks to reduce the stigma surrounding menstruation, promote universal health access, and support students throughout their educational journey. The Period Pantry complements our campus food pantry initiative and supports our continued commitment to addressing basic needs and creating a supportive learning environment.

Available Products

The Period Pantry offers a selection of menstrual hygiene products, including:

• Tampons
• Menstrual Pads
• Liners
• Personal Hygiene Wipes (when available)

Products are available at no cost and are subject to availability.

How to Access the Period Pantry

Students can access the Period Pantry in the Global Health Student Lounge.

Location: 5310 El Paso Drive | FSB Room 1040

Availability:

• Badge access is required to enter the building outside of regular business hours
• Badge access is required at all times to access the student lounge
