About the Program

The GEER II – Nursing Innovation Grant Program supports nursing programs approved by the Texas Board of Nursing, helping Texas public and independent higher education institutions prepare students for nursing careers.

This initiative addresses a critical challenge: the shortage of qualified nursing faculty and simulation coordinators, which limits the number of nurses that can be trained across the state.
