The Children’s Environmental Health Symposium will provide important information about environmental impacts on children’s health. Physicians, mid-level providers, registered nurses, social workers, public health practitioners, community health workers, policy makers, academics, and others in the community will be informed about the critical links between the environment and health, which is an essential step towards improving health outcomes.
Learn how to promote a healthy learning environment at your school to reduce absenteeism, improve test scores and enhance student and staff productivity. Afternoon sessions will focus on healthy school environments and specifically guidance for using EPA’s indoor air quality Tools for Schools Action Kit. The kit is a step-by-step program that shows schools how to carry out a practical plan to improve indoor air problems at little- or no-cost using straightforward activities and in-house staff. The first 75 school representatives to register will receive a free kit.*

In an effort to conserve resources, no printed materials will be available. Attendees at the conference will receive a thumb drive with conference materials to download or print. Conference dress is casual and each attendee is encouraged to bring a sweater or jacket for comfort during the meeting.
